WCHC Toolkits

The findings resulting from CHIWOS were also highly successful in informing two WCHC toolkits: one for women living with HIV and the other for healthcare practitioners caring for women living with HIV.

What are the toolkits?

These toolkits aim to provide a practical guide on how to move forward with community-based, holistic, and empowering HIV care that considers the unique needs of women and gender diverse and Two-Spirit people. Through collaboration with the Centre for Effective Practice (CEP), a not-for-profit knowledge translation organization, we transformed the evidence-based WCHC Model into an actionable tool to further women-centred HIV care.
